Ask for space in the quiet sections. Very sparse, two elements only, long silences. The quiet before a drop is what makes the drop land, and models fill space by default.

- Sustained orchestral textures. Held strings, low brass swells, drones. Convincing enough for most video work.
- Client direction testing. Showing four moods in a minute beats describing them.
Falls short:
- Hitting your cut. The core limitation. Nothing will land on frame 1,127 unless you place it there yourself on the timeline.
- Long-form arc in one generation. You get sections, not a two-minute journey. Assembly is unavoidable and you should plan for it.
- Fast orchestral detail. Rapid string runs, exposed solo woodwind, and articulated percussion are where realism breaks down audibly.
- Thematic development. Real scores state a theme and transform it across a film. Generation does not carry an idea across pieces.
- The braam and the impact. Signature trailer hits are sound design, not music. Layer them separately.
