This Privacy Policy describes how Muziko ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Muziko (the "App"), our iOS application for AI-generated music creation, and our website at muziko.app (together, the "Services").

We designed Muziko to minimize data collection. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not link the content you create to your personal identity.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use Muziko to create songs, you provide text inputs such as descriptions, lyrics, or stories. This content is sent to our AI service providers to generate music. We refer to this as "User Content."

Purchase Information

When you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of the purchase and subscription status, but we do not collect or store your payment card details. Your billing is managed through your Apple ID.

Usage and Device Data

We automatically collect limited technical information to operate and improve the App, including: device identifiers, iOS version, App version, crash logs, and interaction events (for example, which features are used). This data is not linked to your personal identity.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, photos, contacts, health data, financial account numbers, or precise location.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate songs based on the prompts, lyrics, or stories you submit
• Operate, maintain, and improve the App and website
• Process subscriptions and provide customer support
• Fix bugs and diagnose technical problems
• Understand how features are used so we can improve them
• Comply with legal obligations

How We Share Your Information

We share limited information only with the following categories of third parties, and only as necessary to operate the App:

AI Service Providers

Your prompts, lyrics, or stories are sent to third-party AI providers who generate the music on our behalf. These providers process the content solely to return a generated song and are contractually restricted in how they may use the data.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use analytics services (such as Firebase) and crash reporting to understand App performance. These services collect usage data and device information that is not linked to your identity.

Payment Processing

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. Neither we nor RevenueCat process your payment card information.

Advertising Partners

We work with advertising partners (such as Meta, TikTok) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These partners may receive a hashed device identifier that is not linked to your name or contact information. You can disable this at the iOS level by enabling "Ask App Not to Track" in your privacy settings.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of users or the public.

Your Content and Ownership

The songs you generate in Muziko are yours. We do not claim ownership of your generated content. You are responsible for ensuring the prompts, lyrics, and stories you submit do not infringe on the rights of others.

We retain your generated songs in your personal library on your device. Library data may be stored locally on your device or synchronized to your iCloud account if you have iCloud enabled for the App.

Data Retention

We retain user content and usage data for as long as necessary to operate the Services and comply with our legal obligations. You can delete songs from your personal library at any time within the App. Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data associated with the App.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• The right to access information we have about you
• The right to request correction or deletion of your information
• The right to object to or restrict our processing
• The right to data portability
• The right to withdraw consent where we rely on consent to process your information

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

European Residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in providing and improving the Services, performance of our contract with you (for subscribers), and your consent for certain optional processing. You can object to processing or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's Privacy

Muziko is rated 4+ on the App Store, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age without appropriate consent, we will delete that information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@muziko.app.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your data.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States and Europe, where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to these transfers.

Third-Party Links

The App and website may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
